
International Vocational Qualifications (IVQs)
City & Guilds is the UK’s leading awarding body for International Vocational Qualifications (IVQs) that are designed specifically for the international marketplace.
There are two types of City & Guild qualifications – ‘Craft’ and ‘Technician’, and they are available at three levels: Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma. City & Guilds also offer General Vocational Qualifications (GVQs). These awards were developed for the UK market but can be appropriate for overseas customers too.

Exam payments are made directly to City & Guilds.

At the exam
Please bring the following with you to your exam session:
- Identification such as a valid international passport or national ID card.
- City & Guilds Exam Notice
- Pens, pencils in a CLEAR bag
- Basic calculator
- No electronic devices. e.g. mobile phone, etc
