Fees

The test fee for General and Academic tests is NGN75,000.

You will be required to pay by bank transfer from Guaranty Trust Bank, First Bank and Zenith Bank. The payment instructions can be found on How to pay for IELTS exams.

If you are unable to make payment via bank transfer option, please raise a bank draft in favour of British Council from any Nigerian Bank and submit at any of the British Council offices in Nigeria.

Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend that you register online as soon as possible and preferrably at least two months prior to the test date.

Please note: Once all the test places have been assigned and the session is full, the test will no longer appear on our online registration system.

Venue details

You will receive an email ten days before the test date confirming the venue for your test and the timetable. If you don't receive this, please contact your local British Council office.
