The British Council is seeking one filmmaker with strong storytelling experience to tell a compelling story of what was achieved on the Nigeria Creative Enterprise Support Programme in line with its aims. 

All applicants must present a strong team with storytelling, videography, editing and broad filmmaking skills.

In addition to this, you are expected to meet the minimum requirements described below (please demonstrate qualifications by means of CVs, cover letter, references and work samples):

  • Previous experience in producing international quality film/documentaries;
  • Proven ability to work in multicultural environment or context;
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and flexibility;
  • Availability to commence work on 8th April 2019 immediately, upon signing of contract;
  • A narrator with great English language skills as part of the production team;

Each application should include the following:

a.Cover letter with the applicant’s current contact information including how the candidate’s previous experience matches the consultancy objectives as well as their interest for the position (no longer than two pages);

b.Technical proposal on how they intend to carry out the assignment (including incorporation of NICE programme participants where possible);

c.Financial proposal/detailed budget of the project;

d.CV of consultant and CVs of team of professionals on the project, as well as professional references or letters of recommendation;

e.Samples of recent similar assignments: online portfolios and links to video work/documentaries;
