Digital Skills for Artists and Creative Entrepreneurs

As part of the Creative Hubs Programme, we are delivering digital skills training for Artists and Creative Entrepreneurs through participating hubs. 

We are interested in supporting filmmakers, musicians and other music sector professionals, fashion designers and other professionals, performing artists, visual artists, architects, journalists and other broadcast professionals, advertising practitioners, publishing sector professionals and gaming or software designers and other practitioners to develop an understanding of digital tools and platforms available to enhance the creation, production, distribution and exhibition of artistic outputs. 

At the end of the training, the creative entrepreneurs will;

  1. Understand the various digital platforms that they can use at various stages in their artistic practice  
  2. Have the knowledge they need to capitalise on the available digital tools to support their practice in the creation, production, distribution or exhibition of their work in digital spaces. 

TRAINING SCHEDULE

In each location, all training modules will be delivered face to face over 3 days, with practical online tasks based on relevant case studies.

We define digital skills to mean the ability to effectively use digital tools and channels to communicate, create content, transact, solve problems, be safe and legal online.
