The Common Wealth Class Children's Short Story Writing Competition offers children a unique opportunity to play their part in the Commonwealth’s inspiring storytelling heritage. To tie in with the Commonwealth's theme of the year, students are invited to write a story on the subject of 'Peace'.
Learning about 'International Peace and Security' and what it means in today's world allows students to explore the theme even further. Get the whole class involved by using our dedicated resources to help bring the topic to life.
How to enter the competition
Participants must write a story set in their own country and can enter one of two age categories (7-10-year-olds or 11-14-year-olds).
The deadline for entries has now closed.
