Improving access to justice for all Nigerians
The Justice for All programme supported the Nigerian-led reform of the justice sector.
Justice for All (J4A) was a programme which was implemented till April 2017. It was aimed at building capacity, accountability and responsiveness of key policing, justice and anti-corruption institutions and supporting them to work together, alongside civil society and oversight institutions, as part of a coherent, coordinated sector. By supporting better service delivery at the federal, state and local level, J4A aimed to improve the access to security and justice for all Nigerians.
The programme was implemented by a consortium of partners who have extensive experience in Nigeria and in sub-Saharan Africa, and a strong track record in the justice and policing sectors, including experience of working with Nigerian civil society. The consortium consists of the British Council, our principle contracting partner, ATOS Consulting, our Nigerian partners (CLEEN, PRAWA, JRI and NCMG) and our other international partners (Oxford Policy Management and the IDL Group).
