Communication and collaborative skills are vital for the purposes of obtaining, sharing, creating and disseminating information, knowledge, opinions, skills, values and ways of thinking and seeing. Whether it is in the classroom, in the playground, in the home, in the neighbourhood, in the place of worship, or through TV and the Internet, children and young people spend a huge amount of their time building and sharing knowledge, identities and experiences through communication and collaboration.
Through this course, participants will;
- Reflect on communication and collaborative skills as an individual and as a teacher
- Confidently propose and discuss ideas about how to integrate and develop intercultural and/or plurilingual communicative and collaborative skills into the regular classroom and school activities
- Work collaboratively with fellow participants to create principles and activities to promote the development of intercultural collaborative and communication skills in school contexts for all students, including those with special and additional needs.
