For candidates who are yet to collect their exam certificates, please read our important information about uncollected certificates.

University of London certificates

Uncollected certificates from 2010 to 2012 University of London exam sessions have been returned to the University.

Please contact the university directly if you require a copy of a certificate from this time period. Please note, there may be a charge for this service.

All candidates who sat for 2013 University of London exam sessions are advised to visit the British Council with a form of identification to collect their certificates before December 2015.If you wish to send someone to collect a certificate on your behalf, please provide the person with a Letter of Authority and ask them to bring identification. 

IELTS

IELTS Test Report Forms (TRFs) are valid for two years. As a result, all TRFs from 20th February 2012 backwards have been destroyed.

Candidates who are yet to collect their TRFs issued since February 2012 are therefore advised to visit the British Council with a form of identification to collect their certificates. If you wish to send someone to collect a certificate on your behalf, please provide the person with a Letter of Authority and ask them to bring identification.

Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)

All CIE (O-level, A-level, IGCSE and Checkpoint) certificates are retained under secure conditions for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. After that period, the British Council returns unclaimed certificates to CIE. Uncollected CIE results/certificates dating from May/June 1990 to May/June 2012 have therefore been returned to CIE. Please contact CIE directly if you require a copy of a certificate from this time period. Please note, there may be a charge for this service.

All candidates who sat for later exam sessions are advised to visit the British Council with a form of identification to collect their certificates within 12 months of your exam date.If you wish to send someone to collect a certificate on your behalf, please provide the person with a Letter of Authority and ask them to bring identification.
