The Business Mixer is an exclusive networking event put together in partnership with Connect Nigeria, to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to network with other entrepreneurs (young and established), create and build new business relationships asa well as access relevant information, business opportunities, resources and services in a relaxed environment for business networking.

As part of this edition of the Business Mixer, we will be hosting an interactive Business Advisory Session/Clinic, where we will have representatives from 3-4 businesses (providing services which entrepreneurs can leverage on to grow their businesses) speak to young entrepreneurs on a number of topics.

Odunoluwa Longe

Co-founder and CEO, DIYlaw and The Longe Practice

Odun is Co-founder and CEO at DIYlaw, Nigeria’s foremost legal technology startup, Odun is also Co-founder and Lead Counsel of The Longe Practice LP, (TLP), a law practice focused on providing legal solutions for entrepreneurship in Africa. She likes to refer to herself as a Lawver of entrepreneurs where Lawver = Lawyer + Lover. A natural progression of her background and experience is her recent foray into early stage investing. Odun loves all things technology.

Magnus Nmonwu

Regional Director, Sage West Africa

He is responsible for the strategic growth and positioning of the Sage brand in the West Africa region, a fast-growing territory that the company has targeted for strategic investment in the years to come. He has more than 14 years of experience in consulting for Multinational and National companies in the areas of Taxation, Payroll Administration and Business Compliance. Presently, he focuses on business and sales development; supporting teams with a view to increase customer acquisition.

 

Shade A’ Akinpeloye

Brand Strategist , Platform Branding Company

Shade has an MSc in Strategic Brand Management from the University of Hull. She has 6 years’ experience in social media management, sales and brand management. Shade has built a few of her own businesses and helped others such as NACK Apparel where she worked as the Brand Strategist and Digital Marketing Manager.

Currently a Brand Strategist at Platform Branding Company, she has managed and executed the successful 2017 re-brand of Sigma Pensions Limited and the Aiteo Cup 2017. 

Agatha Emina

General Manager, Wild Fusion

Agatha is a seasoned digital marketing professional, strategist and leader with a strong understanding of online marketing concepts, strategy and best practices. She is a subject matter expert from the Digital Marketing Institute, Ireland with core competency in mobile marketing and social media marketing. Passionate about digital marketing, Agatha has helped businesses succeed in the digital space by offering return on marketing spend on real business objectives.
