Reorganising police stations can make for a more effective delivery of policing services

Police stations throughout Nigeria vary in shape and size often with different facilities, levels of space, and accommodation. How the available space is used is a crucial factor in ensuring the effective delivery of policing services. The charge room office (public reception area) should present a quiet and welcoming environment where citizens can feel confident in the services being offered and where they will be treated with respect. Station officers can be trained in customer service skills. Citizens want to feel comfortable when entering the public areas of a police station to report a crime or seek police assistance.

Please download our how to guide on how to effectively reorganise police stations. We hope you find it extremely useful.
