Our Creative Showcase Programme is an initiative that champions local artists and creatives, providing access to prestigious exhibition spaces and venues in Nigeria. The #iam4art Showcase is not just an event; it's an immersive experience that combines creative activities and captivating performances, along with a vibrant Pop-up market of amazig Nigerian products and services.

The concept of the British Council Creative Economy pop-up market is to support young creative entrepreneurs, especially alumni of our programmes who have taken the retail and entrepreneurial world in Nigeria by storm in recent years.

This temporary market will be set up at the British Council outdoor space (office garden space), offering a unique and dynamic shopping experience for both vendors and visitors. This opportunity provides a platform for small-scale businesses, independent artisans, and entrepreneurs in Nigeria to showcase their products, arts, and services while offering customers a chance to discover and support local talent.

  • The Pop-Up Market aims to provide a unique opportunity for young entrepreneurs from various industries to facilitate meaningful connections, and collaborations, spark innovation, and open new avenues for collaboration.
  • Creating a thriving and inclusive community for young entrepreneurs by supporting over 50 local businesses and artisans.
