A Professor of Chemistry at the University of Lagos whose research studies emerging contaminants and their impacts on vulnerable populations. A Commonwealth Scholar and Fellow, she completed PhD split-site training and academic fellowship at Loughborough University and the University of Birmingham and has served as visiting Professor at Emory University. She contributes to global discourse on chemical pollutants, sustainable development, and environmental health inequalities.

 

Dr Ikpaya Ikpaya

Dr Ikpaya David Ikpaya is a 2017 Rutherford Fellow who won the 2022 Research Impact Awards Topical Prize for his clean energy-related research. He received his M.Sc. degree in Satellite Engineering and a PhD degree in Engineering and Physical Sciences (Spacecraft Engineering) from the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K., in 2008 and 2014, respectively. Ikpaya observes that working at Surrey Satellite Technology Limited while studying at the University, enhanced his professional development.
